Battery Mower Care Tips
Electric mowers are quiet, clean, and convenient—but their batteries need the right care. Follow these tips to maximize run time and extend battery life.
Charging habits
Recharge batteries after each use, but avoid leaving them plugged in continuously. Lithium-ion packs don’t need to be fully drained—partial recharges are fine.
Storage & temperature
Store batteries indoors in a dry, cool place. Ideal storage is between 40–80°F (5–27°C). Avoid leaving packs in hot garages, sheds, or direct sunlight.
Safe use in the yard
Don’t mow wet grass—it stresses both blades and the motor. Check battery vents for debris, and wipe down contacts before charging. Always use manufacturer-approved chargers.
